Ayia Napa Harbour is a nice place to visit both in the day and evening, with its host of shops, bars, restuarants and Greek tavernas specialising in fish mezes. The harbour is a 5 minute drive away from the Beach Villa Alexander and a 10 minute drive away from the Grand Villa Alexander.
The small fishing village of Potamos is just a few minutes drive away from the Beach Villa Alexander and a 10 minutes drive away from the Grand Villa Alexander. This pleasant creek with its small fishing harbour and traditional Cypriot boats is a perfect place to visit. Our favourite place to go is the second restaurant, where you can just sit next to the beach with its fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea and enjoy local fresh fish and a bottle of chilled wine afternoon or evening.
Take a trip into the mountains to discover an alternate view of the island. Rising to almost 2,000 metres above sea level, the Troodos peaks provide panoramic scenes to all corners of the island, a cool retreat from the heat of the coast and popular for taking in the healthy mountain air and enjoying nature in all its majesty. Here, even at the height of summer, you will find cool, pine-scented air, quiet mountain villages and lonely monasteries, with the odd bird of prey circling above.
A magnificent, entirely restored Greco-Roman theater in an idyllic location, only 20 minutes from Limassol. Once an arena for gladiators, it is now the perfect setting for open air concerts and theater, with the Mediterranean shimmering in the background.
